Having experienced a brief episode of homelessness as a young adult, Asjah has dedicated her career to working with youth and young adults, especially those experiencing homelessness. Convinced there was a better way to support the transition to independent adulthood, she founded Small House Inc. in 2021.

Asjah is a certified Youth Wellness and Resilience Life Coach, facilitator, speaker and entrepreneur. She holds a Bachelors and a Masters of Art in Applied Sociology from UMass, Boston as well as a certificate of advanced studies from Sposato Graduate School of Education.

Chris is currently a second year medical student at University of Michigan. Originally from Sioux City, Iowa, he graduated from Harvard in 2021. His community work experience includes working as a Mathematics Tutor for MatchCorps (Americorps) and as Operations Director for Y2Y Homeless Shelter.

Chris’ future career interests involve combining community work and medicine to help support vulnerable populations.

Judi founded the Wily Network in 2015, creating a community that offers wrap-around services to students who are navigating college on their own from matriculation to graduation. She currently serves as its Executive Director. Previously, Judi spent more than 30 years with Wediko Children’s Services where she held a variety of roles including clinician, administrator, program director and development officer.

Judi holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and earned her B.A. and M.A. degrees in Psychology at Hamilton College and Boston College respectively.

Pam joined Small House, Inc. to support the organization in fundraising and putting into place the financial and operational processes that are needed as Small House continues to grow.

Pam began her career in advertising and marketing and then shifted to the non-profit sector with a focus on development and communications. She has held development staff positions at St. Stephen’s Youth Programs and The Steppingstone Foundation and worked as a freelance grants consultant and writer. Pam has also utilized her for-profit experience to help non-profits with strategic planning and financial and operational management. 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Augustana College (Illinois) and a Masters of Science from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
